Appeal success for our client in Sheffield 😊

We’re delighted to have secured planning permission at appeal for a new dwelling in Grenoside, Sheffield. The Inspector allowed the appeal, concluding that the site constitutes Grey Belt land and that the proposal satisfies the tests set out in paragraph 155 of the National Planning Policy Framework.

The decision is another important example of how the updated Grey Belt policy can unlock appropriate development where:

✅ The site does not strongly contribute to the relevant purposes of the Green Belt.
✅ There is a demonstrable unmet housing need.
✅ The location is considered sustainable.
