Early 2022 has seen us obtain planning permission for a number of bespoke dwellings in Green Belt locations. These include:

 

  • A contemporary flat roofed dwelling at Netherton, Wakefield. We were required to demonstrate very special circumstances which centred on the “fallback position” at the site. Our client has subsequently reported that the permission has resulted in a substantial uplift in the value of the site.

 

  • Two new dwellings at Millhouses Green, Barnsley. We were able to demonstrate to Barnsley MBC that the proposal would not harm openness compared with the existing situation. Our client was delighted with the outcome and commented:

  • A new build dwelling and subsequent extension at Grenoside, Sheffield. This required a two-staged approach to maximise the size of the dwelling to meet the aspirations of our clients.

 

  • Replacement of existing stables/ outbuildings with a detached dwelling at Shelley, Huddersfield, Kirklees. This has again allowed our client to add significant value to their site and they are thrilled with the outcome.
